Did you know that if you live in Lexington, Kentucky, you’re not allowed to carry an ice cream cone in your pocket? Weird, ain’t it? Well, that’s actually a law out there in Lexington, Kentucky. There are definitely crazy laws out there and here are some of our favorite!
- It’s against the law to step out of an airplane while it’s in the air over Maine.
- Ninth-grade boys can’t grow mustaches in Binghamton, New York.
- It’s against the law to drink milk on a train passing through North Carolina.
- It’s illegal to spit against the wind in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan.
- In Lawrence, Kansas, it’s against the law to carry bees around in your hat on city streets.
- Oregon does not allow citizens to wipe their dishes. They must let them drip-dry.
- It’s illegal to swim on dry land in Santa Ana, California.
- If you mispronounce “Arkansas” while you’re in that state, you’re breaking the law.
- It’s illegal to play cards in the road in Somerset County, Maryland.
Aren’t these laws crazy? Well, just make sure you’re not breaking these laws when you’re in that state!
