Why, sure they can!! A woman in China just recently had her teeth fixed by a robot and the only thing the dentist did was assist to make sure that everything was working properly. The robot was able to implant (put in) two teeth. In order for the robot to do this, the robot has to be preprogrammed with the correct directions, which means it has to be coded properly for the surgery. The robot can even sense when the patient is moving, which will then make the robot stop for a second. Who’s up for having their teeth fixed by a robot??
