Did you know that during the school year, we’re required to be there for 182 days. Which means, from grades Kindergarten through 12th grade, we’re in school for 2,366 days! But if you think that’s a lot of days for us kids in the U.S., imagine being a student in China. The majority of students in China attend school for 6 days out of the week starting from 7:00 in the morning to 4:00pm and sometimes, they have to stay until after 4:oopm. Also, their parents have to pay fees for books and uniforms. And let’s talk about their summer vacation. Their summer vacation only last for one month, usually from June to July, or July to August depending on when their school was let out. So before you complain about being in school all the time, just be glad that you’re not in there for 6 days and that your summer vacation actually last more than a month!
