FAIRIES: FACT OR FICTION?

We’ve all heard of magical fairies.  As a kid, you’ve probably once believed that these magical beings live in the forest waiting for us to come and play with them. But have you ever wondered if they’re actually real or fake?  Most of us would like to believe that they’re real, but no one has ever seen a fairy flying around (except for fairies in movies or books). So how did the stories of fairies come about?

According to some sources, the tales of fairies go as far back as the 1300’s.  People told stories of seeing “little people or hidden people” flying around in the forest.  These stories were often told as tales or folklores, but people actually believed these stories had some truth to them.  As these tales were being told, people also believed these fairies were not fairies as we know it, but they were actually spirits or ghosts.  To this day, the stories of real-life fairies are still being told by people that believe that they’ve seen them or that they actually exist.  Who wouldn’t want to believe in such beautiful, magical beings?  What do you think?  Do you think that fairies actually exist?  Let us know your thoughts!
